Yashica MF-1 35mm viewfinder camera w/ ever-ready case (serial 5295469)
Yashica MF-1 35mm viewfinder camera w/ ever-ready case (serial 5295469)
Note: this is the original vintage Yashica MF-1 35mm camera from 1979 not the poor-quality toy camera currently sold under the same name.
The Yashica MF-1 is an elegant 35mm camera from the late 1970s with a built-in flash. Like the Olympus Trip 35 and Konica C35 EF (its main market competition when it was new), the MF-1 is viewfinder or 'zone-focus' camera where you focus by pictogram (or by estimating subject distance in feet or meters).
This camera requires two AA batteries (not included) which power its light meter and built-in flash. The original Yashica 'ever-ready' case is included.
Condition notes
The camera was tested with film and delivered sharp, well-exposed images. We also verified the camera's focus on an autocollimator. The camera and case are in very good cosmetic condition (see photos).
