Sony Cyber-Shot G DSC-WX10 16.2MP digicam w/ 8 GB memory card + charger + battery (serial 7360324)

Note: We performed a small repair on the camera's battery latch. We used quality epoxy and the repair is solid but it's important to treat it with care when opening and closing or removing and reinserting the battery; Sony cameras from this series are inherently prone to broken latches if you force the battery door closed with the switch in the 'locked' position. 

The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX10 is an ultra compact digicam from 2011 featuring a 16.2 megapixel sensor, and a high quality Sony 'G' series lens (24-168mm 35mm equivalent, f/2.4 to f/5.9) with 'SteadyShot' optical stabilization. The maximum f2.4 aperture at the wide end of the lens is quite fast and very handy for available light photography. 

This camera offers 1920x1080 full HD video recording. The 2011 Imaging Resource review linked below gave the camera high marks for its video performance: "The WX10 can give a $500-plus camcorder a run for its money in the video quality department".

• Third-party Type G (NP-BG1) battery pack. This battery pack charges correctly in our testing but we cannot guarantee its lifespan. We strongly recommend buying a spare Type G/NP-BG1 battery pack for serious use, third party versions are inexpensive and widely available.

Condition notes

We tested this camera and it is working correctly. The camera is in good cosmetic condition (see photos). As mentioned above, we had to repair the battery latch (there are two photos of the repair but it's quite difficult to see due to its small size and
