The Samsung AF Zoom 777i is a quality zoom 35mm point and shoot from the early 1990s. This is a very easy camera to use in its 'auto-everything mode' (when you first switch it on) but also offers a number of advanced features for creative shooting (including an interval shooting mode and our favourite: multiple exposures).

The May 1993 Popular Photography listed the 777i's new price as $370USD ($767.63 in early 2023) and gave this blurb:

Very competent standard-size zoom model at a good price. Fuzzy-logic mode takes light level and distance into account for setting zoom and flash mode.

We're big fans of Samsung's 1990s point-and-shoots and the AF Zoom 777i is no exception. The only negative we can think of is that it's a bit noiser than average.

This camera requires a CR-P2 lithium battery (available as an option).

Condition Notes
This camera was tested with batteries and a roll of film (the film was not developed). All modes are working correctly. The camera's true film-plane focus accuracy was verified on an auto-collimator. We also verified the camera's autoexposure.
