The Ricoh XR-X (called the XR-M in some countries) is a high-end manual focus 35mm SLR from the late 80s. Surely one of the most advanced manual focus cameras ever made, this camera was subject to a glowing review/lab test in the January 1988 Popular Photography (read it here).

The XR-X is compatible with Pentax K-mount lenses. When used with Rikenon P-type lenses (like the included  50mm f2), you gain access to program autoexposure modes. With other K-mount lenses you can still use aperture-priority autoexposure or manual exposure modes.

One unique feature of this camera is its dedicated 'TV mode' designed for photographing television sets or computer monitors. This could be useful for documenting video art.

The XR-X requires four AA batteries (not included).

Condition notes
The camera and included lens are in very good condition (see photos). We verified the camera's film plane focus accuracy; we confirmed its very good shutter speed and autoexposure accuracy.
