Olympus Trip XB AF-44 35mm camera (serial 5606215)

The Olympus Trip XB AF-44 is a compact autofocus 35mm point-and-shoot with a 27mm wide-angle lens.

This camera is very similar to the more commonly seen Trip XB AF-40 and Trip XB AF-41 (the Trip XB AF-44 is the 'deluxe' model of the series as includes date imprinting and a self-timer). 

Its lens is simple by Olympus standards (27mm f6.3 wide angle, 3-component, 3-group) but we really enjoy the image quality this camera delivers. It gives particularly good results if you pay attention to its flash range (see specifications below) for indoor/low light situations. In the flickr.com example photos linked below, the photographer did a good job working within the camera's capabilities. 

The camera requires two AA batteries (not included).

Condition notes

The camera is in excellent condition. We tested it with batteries and film installed (the film was not developed) and everything is working correctly.
