This is the Nishkia N9000 3D 35mm camera, the lighter, smaller successor to the famed N8000—originally for taking lenticular 3D images; now more popularly used for creating amazing animated 3D gif images or 'wigglegrams'.
This camera is very similar to the better known N8000; the difference being 1) the N9000 doesn't feature a light meter (it recommends using ISO 200 color film and using the switch in front to choose between full sun or partially cloudy); 2) the N9000 is much lighter and substantially smaller; 3) the N9000 uses a thumb wheel to advance the film rather than a lever; 4) the N9000 adds and integrated lens cap; 5) the N9000 offers two rather than three aperture settings; and 6) the N9000 is reportedly less prone to vignetting than the N8000 (unconfirmed).
Like the N8000, this camera features a hot shoe and works very well with most flashes. Nishika originally sold a twin flash (small front-facing direct flash plus a bounce flash in a single unit) as an option for these cameras but any conventional flash will work well (we actually tested it with a wireless trigger and studio strobes and it worked great). Either a flash or very high speed film (such as Tmax 3200) is required for indoor use.
This artist made a really nice tutorial on how to create animated gifs with the Nishika N8000 which applies equally to the N9000: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hScVtsuzKyg (If you check his YouTube channel, he also has an excellent photographic darkroom tutorial for beginners).
Condition notes We film tested this camera and it delivered sharp negatives and we were able to create interesting 'wigglegram' gif files. The camera is good condition with just some minor wear to its body (see photos).
