Nikon FM2n 35mm film SLR camera w/ Nikkor 50mm f1.8 lens + manuals in English and French (serial 8518258)
Note: Some of the included test photos have a color cast, this is due to our use of tungsten balanced film in daylight conditions.
Sold from 1982 to 2001, the lightweight and highly capable FM2 is one of Nikon's longest-running and most beloved cameras. This FM2n (its date code: January 1996) represents the final evolution of this mechanical SLR design (the later 'FM2t' only altered cosmetics); featuring the most refined and reliable shutter (with a 1 second to 1/4000 range) and a fast 1/250 flash sync speed.
The included lens is a sharp, fast Nikkor 50mm f1.8.
The Nikon FM2n's light meter requires two 357 silver oxide batteries (optional). Alternatively, it will work with two alkaline LR44 batteries or a single lithium 1/3N cell.
English and French language manuals are included.
Condition notes
This camera (serial number 8518258) and lens are in very good cosmetic and working condition (see photos). We tested this camera and lens with film and it delivered sharp, correctly exposed photos. All shutter speeds are working well with very good accuracy.
