Minolta Hi-Matic 11 35mm rangefinder camera w/ 'ever-ready' case
Minolta Hi-Matic 11 35mm rangefinder camera w/ 'ever-ready' case
The Minolta Hi-Matic 11 is a superb fixed-lens rangefinder from 1969. It features a sharp and fast Rokkor-PF 45mm F1.7 lens (6 elements in 5 groups) and two very good autoexposure modes (fully automatic and shutter priority).
Though this camera omits the fully manual mode that was available in the Hi-Matic 9, it does allow you to half-press the shutter release to lock the metering, which is handy for difficult lighting situations.
This camera requires a 675 zinc-air battery (optional).
Condition notes
This camera was film tested and delivered sharp, correctly exposed photos. We confirmed its focus on an autocollimator and its autoexposure accuracy using a calibrated light source and a shutter tester. This camera and its ever-ready case are in very good cosmetic condition (see photos).
