The Minolta Freedom Zoom 90 (also called the AF-Zoom 90) is an advanced 35mm film point-and-shoot from 1989. Here's how it was described in Minolta literature at the time:

"Heading up the Freedom line is the Freedom Zoom 90 with its 2.5X power zoom from 38 to 90mm, and the ability to accept films as fast as 3200, making it very useful for available light photography. With its exclusive 5-beam autofocus, it offers the most advanced autofocus of any point-and-shoot camera. A Program Zoom feature will automatically set up the ideal portrait magnification for perfect cameo shots."

Battery information

This camera requires a CR-P2 lithium battery (available as an option).

Estimated battery life: Approximately 23 rolls. (Based on Minolta's standard test method, using 24-exposure film with flash on 50% of the exposures.)

Condition notes

The camera's functions were tested with a battery and a roll of film (the film was not developed). All modes are working correctly. We also verified the camera's film plane focus accuracy on an autocollimator (the lens showed very good sharpness for a zoom point-and-shoot). The camera is in very good cosmetic condition (see photos).
