Minolta Freedom Dual C 35mm camera w/ case (serial 36305060)
The Minolta Freedom Dual C (also known as the Riva Twin 28) is a dual lens 35mm point-and-shoot from the early 1990s. We're big fans of dual lens cameras for this era and this Minolta offers and interesting twist of the theme by offer a wider angles than most of the competition: it gives you the choice between a 28mm and 40mm.
This is well-designed point-and-shoot with very nice image quality. Our only real quibble is that it only meters between ISO 100 and 400 film so it's not a good choice for people who use specialty films like Ilford Delta 3200 or T-Max P3200.
Battery information
This camera requires a 2CR5 battery (available as an option). It has a very good estimated battery life: "45 rolls (based on Minolta's standard test method, using 24-exposure film with flash on 50% of exposures)
Condition notes
The camera was tested with a battery and film installed. All features are working correctly. We verified the film plane focus accuracy with an autocollimator and its auto-exposure accuracy using a calibrated light source. The camera is in very good cosmetic condition with some normal wear from use (see photos). The included case shows significant wear from age (see photo).
Example photos
Here are some pictures that other people took with this model of camera (many of these have unusual colours, these are due to use of expired or specialty film rather than the camera itself):
