Minolta Freedom 35AF 35mm point-and-shoot camera w/ box, case, and manual (serial 19401562)
The Minolta Freedom 35AF (also called the AF101R) is a elegantly designed, compact autofocus 35mm point-and-shoot camera from circa 1994. It features a good performing fixed wide-angle 28mm lens.
We really like the simple three-way flash control on the front of this camera: it's very easy to either cancel the flash or force the flash to fire (eg when you see harsh shadows on your subject or in backlit situations).
Battery information
This camera requires two alkaline AA batteries (not included).
Battery performance: Alkaline cells: approx. 20 rolls; (based on Minolta's standard test method, using 24 exposure film with flash on 50% of exposures)
Condition notes
We tested this camera with batteries and film installed and all features are working correctly. We verified the camera's true film plane focus with an autocollimator. All functions are working correctly. The camera is in very good cosmetic condition (see photos). The original case, box, and manual show some wear from age (most notably there's a black smudge on the box which we highlight in the photo).
