Minolta AF-S Auto Focus D 35mm camera w/ case (serial 5040389)

The Minolta AF-S Quartz Auto Focus D is a quality 35mm point-and-shoot from the 1980s. This is the same camera as the better-known Minolta 'Talker' without the goofy synthesized voice. 

The AF-S features a sharp 35mm f2.8 lens, an electronic self-timer, and a flash that only fires if you switch it on (a favorite feature of ours). 

The film speed is manually set from ISO 25 to ISO 1000 by a dial around the lens. 

This is the version with the optional date and time imprinting (and alarm clock!) feature. The calendar ended in 2009 but you could still use it for printing the time if desired.

Condition notes

The camera is in very good cosmetic condition (see photos) and is working correctly. We verified both its film plane focus and auto-exposure accuracy are excellent. We tested several cameras in this series in the past year and this one has the best exposure accuracy we've seen (we tested from EV 9 to EV 16). A Minolta case in good but worn condition is included.
