Canon Sure Shot Joy camera
Canon Sure Shot Joy camera
Note: we needed to repair a small chip on the camera's body (on the bottom edge, see photos). This is purely cosmetic, it doesn't affect the camera's functionality in any way.
The Canon Sure Shot Joy is an easy-to-use auto focus 35mm camera from the late 1980s. It features a sharp 35mm f4.5 lens (3 elements in 3 groups). It also features a very novel 'burst mode' option where you can select 2,3, or 4 shots to fire in sequence with a single press of the shutter--very handy for capturing action.
The Sure Shot Joy requires a 2CR5 6V lithium battery (optional).
Condition notes
All camera features were tested with a battery and film installed (the film was not developed) and is working great. As mentioned in the note above, there was a small chip on the corner of the camera (purely cosmetic) that we repaired with epoxy putty and enamel, otherwise the aesthetic condition of the camera is good (see photos) with only minimal wear on the body.
