The Canon Photura is a very unusual looking but excellent quality point and shoot 35mm camera from the early 1990s. In Popular Mechanics 1990 roundup of advanced compact cameras, the reviewer described the Photura as 'avant garde' and gave it the highest marks of the lot. It looks more like an analog camcorder than a 35mm point-and-shoot but its form does really follow function: the camera is built around its 35-105mm f/2.8-6.6 lens (10 elements in 9 groups), which is unusually large and high quality for a point-and-shoot zoom (and quite fast at the wide angle end).

Options
If you pick '+ battery', a 2CR5 6V lithium battery will be installed. If you choose '+ battery & film', you'll receive a 24 exposure roll of Fujicolor 200 film.

Condition notes
All camera features were tested with a battery and film installed (the film was not developed) and is working great. There was a small chip on the back side of the camera that we repaired with epoxy putty and enamel, otherwise the aesthetic condition of the camera is very good (see photos). The original manual is included.
