This is one of the later and better 35mm point and shoot cameras in the Canon Sure Shot/Autoboy series. The Prima Super 105 Zoom was also called the Autoboy Luna 105 (Japan) and Sure Shot 105 Zoom (North America). This is a very simple camera to use but also a very capable point-and-shoot for more advanced photographers. It offers a wider-than-usual zoom range (38-105mm) and a relatively fast maximum aperture at its wide end (f3.8) for a small zoom point-and-shoot.

"The top-of-the-line model in the Autoboy Luna series. Fully automatic zoom compact camera with a 38-105mm (2.8x zoom ratio) lens. Silver and black two-tone color. 3-point autofocusing with Ai-AF. Two aspherical lens elements contribute to high image quality. Easy dial operation. The RT (Real-Time) shutter mode makes shutter release very fast. Many features at your disposal."

This is the version with optional date imprinting. The calendar goes until December 31st, 2049.

Battery information

The Sure Shot 105 Zoom requires a CR123 battery (available as an option).

Shooting capacity: Approx. 17 rolls of 24-exposure film with 50% flash use. (Data based on Canon's Standard Test Method.)

Condition notes

All camera features were tested with a battery and film installed (the film was not developed) and it's working great. We also verified the camera's film plane focus sharpness using an autocollimator and its auto exposure using a calibrated light source. The camera is in good cosmetic condition (see photos) with the most noteworthy cosmetic flaw being that the flash diffuser plastic was re-glued (this doesn't affect functionality). The original case is included.
