Canon EOS Rebel G 35mm film SLR w/ EF 28-90mm lens (serial 4108062)

The Canon EOS Rebel G is a compact, very lightweight, and easy-to-use autofocus 35mm film SLR camera from 1996. When using its 'auto' mode, the camera is as simple to use as a point-and-shoot but should you wish to go further, it offers a wide array of modes and manual controls. The included Canon EF 28-90mm f4-5.6 is a lightweight, flexible, general-purpose lens. 

Like the other Canon EOS 35mm film SLRs, the Rebel G is a good choice for anyone who already owns a Canon digital SLR as it works with the same lenses (provided that they're the full-frame type).

This camera requires two CR123 lithium batteries (available as an option).

Condition notes
The camera and lens are in good cosmetic condition (see photos) with the most noteworthy blemish being a small hairline crack on the top of the camera (purely cosmetic, doesn't affect usage). All functions are working correctly. We verified that both the camera's shutter and auto-exposure are working with good acuracy.

Flash sync speed set automatically anywhere from 30 sec. to 1/90 sec. depending on aperture setting. Fill-flash enabled. Red-eye reduction lamp provided. With the optional Canon Speedlite 220E or 380EX, the camera’s AE lock button fires a preflash. The resulting reflection off the subject is metered (partial metering at center) by the AE sensor to determine the flash output. FE lock can also be controlled in this way. • Advance: Align film leader at mark, then close the camera back for prewind loading. First, the entire roll is wound on the take-up spool. Then each time a picture is taken, the film advances back into the cartridge. Film transport with the built-in motor. Film advance speed: 1 fps. After the last frame is exposed, the film is rewound automatically. Midroll rewind enabled.
  
• Frame Counter: Counts down on external LCD panel (counts up during film rewind).
