Yashica L-AF 35mm film camera (serial 5129032)

Note: We film-tested this camera with ISO 50 film exposed at ISO 100 and developed at the normal time so the images are a bit grainier and higher contrast than they would be if they were exposed at the correct speed.  

The Yashica L AF is a superb 35mm point-and-shoot from 1986. This camera was a pleasure to use. We found it to be quite similar to its high-end sibling, the T-AF (both feature sharp 4 element 3 group lenses).

This camera requires a 2CR5 lithium battery (available as an option). 

Condition Notes

We film tested this camera and it delivered sharp photos. Though we used film that was outside the camera's metering range (ISO 50; the camera meters from ISO 100 to ISO 1000), the exposure was very consistent. We also verified the camera exposure accuracy using a calibrated light source and shutter tester. This camera is in good cosmetic condition (see photos) with some minor wear from use.
