Yashica DF-10S 35mm film camera w/ case (serial 225490)
The Yashica DF-10S is a great snapshot 35mm camera from the Yashica/Kyocera era. It's quite unique in that it offers a two lenses in a 'focus-free' configuration.
Here's how the focus-free design works:
In daylight, subjects at 1.5 meters and beyond should be in focus with the wide angle lens (2 meters and beyond for the telephoto mode). For daylight flash photos, this table gives you the ideal focus:
Yashica/Kyocera sold a nearly identical camera called the DF-10 which omitted the self-timer mode.
This camera requires two AA batteries (not included).
Condition Notes
We film tested this camera and it delivered sharp, correctly exposed photos. We saw slight light leakage on the film sprocket edges but we decided against adding baffling because it was nowhere near the image area. The overall cosmetic condition is good except for some paint wear (see photos). The original case is included.
