This Vivitar SL/220 is a solid, good quality 35mm SLR from the 1970s (it's identical to the better-known Argus Cosina STL 1000); the included Vivitar 50mm f1.8 lens is very sharp. We film tested this camera and it was a pleasure to use and gave us good results.

The 220/SL uses the popular m42 lens mount (also called 'Pentax screw mount') and is built around the very reliable Copal Square shutter (found in high end Nikon and Konica cameras during the same era). Its light meter is a stop-down style and requires a 675 zinc air battery (optional).

The original leatherette 'ever-ready' case is included.

Condition notes
The camera is very good working condition; it was tested with film and delivered sharp, correctly exposed images. In addition, its shutter speeds travel time and symmetry. It's is in good aesthetic condition except for some wear on the body (see photos). The included case is very good condition as well.
