Vintage navy jacket liner - medium

This is an interesting "self-sizing" jacket liner made by Montreal company Evin in 1980. The very wordy, bilingual tag notes that the liner can be worn as a separate jacket. They also "invite comments and shall reward original ideas". On the inside breast pocket, it reads, "It is a funny thing about life-if you refuse to accept anything but the best you very often get it." The jacket has robust zippers, interior wind blocking belt, satin placket, and pockets. An unique variation of a utilitarian classic. Marked a size 38.
