Pentax Zoom 280-P 35mm camera w/ padded case
Pentax Zoom 280-P 35mm camera w/ padded case
Note: this camera includes a working detachable remote control (which lets you control the zoom and also fire the shutter). Please note that the remote control's functionality is not covered by our guarantee as its battery is not easily replaceable.
The Pentax Zoom 280-P is a 1990's point-and-shoot that features a very useful 28-80mm zoom range that makes it quite distinct from its contemporary competitors (fitting a wide-angle to telephoto lens into a point-and-shoot was quite an engineering challenge).
The April 1993 issue of Popular Photography gave the Zoom 280-P a review, read it here.
This camera requires two CR123A lithium batteries (available as an option). A padded fabric Pentax case is included.
Condition notes
The camera's functions were tested with batteries and a roll of film (the film was not developed) and all modes are working correctly. We verified the camera's film plane focus and exposure accuracy. The camera is in good cosmetic condition (see photos).
