The Pentax Espio 120 is a sophisticated yet easy-to-use compact 35mm camera from the mid-1990s that features a generous 38-120mm zoom range and host of features as described in the product description:

The latest in the famed IQZoom series for top-quality point-and-shoot cameras from Pentax is the IQZoom 120 with one of the longest zoom lenses available, 38-120mm. In effect, this camera provides the equivalent offour separate lenses—a wide-angle (38mm), a normal (50mm), a portrait (85mm), and a telephoto (120mm).
But because the lens in the IQZoom is a zoom lens, you have every setting in between so that you can select the lens setting that gives you the precise picture you want. You can even move in for dramatic close-ups, focusing as close as 1.5 feet. Even ordinary subjects take on dramatic impact at this close distance.
The lens performance is outstanding, thanks in part to the use of Super-Multi-Coating, another Pentax innovation, which enhances the brilliance and color accuracy of todays multi-element zoom lenses.
The IQZoom 120 also provides an actual-image zoom viewfinder with diopter adjustment so you can see just what your picture will look like, accurately and clearly. The viewfinder shows you not only what your image will be like in standard (24 x 36mm) format but also in panorama mode (13 x 36mm). The finder also adjusts for your individual eyesight, from-3.00 (nearsighted) to +1.00 (slightly farsighted).
Sophisticated computer systems assure both sharp focus and precise exposure, automatically. There are no more “problem" exposure situations with the IQZoom 120: a six-segment multi-pat-tern metering system reads all parts of the frame, then analyzes the light to program a perfect exposure.
The IQZoom 120 offers an entire range of features to give you the ability to handle any photo situation easily and successfully. For example, you can switch your flash off to photograph low-light scenes by available light. You can switch from normal to panorama mode in the middle of a roll. You can stop most action with the 1/400 second shutter speed. You can use remote control or a self-timer. There is very little that cannot be handled better by the IQZoom 120, the latest point-and-shoot model from Pentax.

The camera requires a CR123 lithium battery (optional).

Condition notes
The camera was tested with a battery and film installed and all functions are working well (we didn't develop the film). We verified the film plane focus accuracy on an autocollimator. The camera is in good condition with the exception of some noticeable wear on the body (see photos); this does not affect functionality or image quality (the lens is very clean).
