The Nikon N2020 (called the F501 in some countries) from 1986 was the company's first successful autofocus 35mm SLR. The included lens is a fast, sharp AF Nikkor 50mm f1.8.

We found this camera to be a pleasure to use when testing, with nice ergonomics, a sensible arrangement of controls, and most importantly: excellent results. It earned a rave review in the August 1986 Popular Photography where the author concluded, compared to contemporary Canon and Minolta offerings, "for most people, [the N2020] is the best choice among
the current bunch."

This camera requires 4 AAA batteries (not included).

Condition notes
We film-tested this N2020 and AF Nikkor combine and they delivered sharp, correctly exposed photos. The camera is in overall good cosmetic condition (see photos) with the most noteworthy flaw being a small repaired chip on the top cover that was repaired with epoxy putty and enamel. The camera has very good shutter speed and autoexposure accuracy. The included lens is in very good condition.
