Minolta Riva Zoom 70 Date 35mm camera w/ case (serial 34907746)
The Minolta Riva Zoom 70 Date (aka Freedom Zoom 70 Date and Sightseer Zoom) is a good quality point-and-shot 35mm camera from the 1990s with a better-than-typical zoom lens (thanks in part to its inclusion of an aspherical lens element).
This is the version of this camera with an optional date imprinting feature but its calendar only goes to 2019.
Battery information
This camera requires a CR123 lithium battery (available as an option).
Battery life: An estimated 15 24-exposures rolls per battery according to Minolta's testing.
Condition notes
The camera's functions were tested with a battery and a roll of film (the film was not developed). All modes are working correctly. We verified the film plane focus accuracy and sharpness on an autocollimator. The camera is in very good cosmetic condition (see photos). The original case is included.
