Minolta Maxxum 3xi 35mm film SLR w/ 35-70mm lens (serial 02425619)
Note: the original synthetic rubber grip on this camera was in poor condition so we replaced it with a Sugru polymer grip. It's a quality material and works very well but isn't quite as tidy looking as the original (see photos).
The Minolta Maxxum 3xi is lightweight and easy-to-use 35mm film SLR camera from the early 90s. In its auto mode, it's as easy to use as a point-and-shoot, but it's still well-appointed with advanced features. It offers full manual, shutter priority, aperture priority, and program exposure modes. The included lens is a flexible 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 autofocus zoom. It also features a pop-up integrated flash.
This camera requires a 2CR5 6 volt lithium battery (available as an option). The original manual in French is included (not pictured).
Condition notes
The camera and lens are in very good cosmetic condition (see photos) except for the replaced handgrip mentioned earlier. All features are working correctly and the shutter is firing with good accuracy at all speeds. We also verified the camera has very good autoexposure accuracy.
