The Minolta Capios 75 (also sold as the Riva Zoom 70W and Freedom Zoom Explorer)  is a quality 35mm camera with a very handy zoom range from 28-70mm.

This is one of our favourite zoom point-and-shoots from the 90s. This camera is well appointed with features (including a nice lens with two aspherical elements) and has a very elegant industrial design.

The camera requires a CR123A lithium battery (optional). Includes: the rare remote control; the original box; a Minolta case; and the manual. This is the version with an optional date imprinting feature; the calendar goes up to 2029.

Condition notes

We film tested this camera and it delivered sharp, correctly exposed photos (note: we used the date imprinting mode on the tests but this can be switched off) . All modes are working correctly. The camera is good cosmetic condition  except for some marks on the paint because the original owner cleaned it with a solvent (see photos; this is no way affects functionality). We also confirmed the focus and autoexposure accuracy are good.
