The Kodak VR35 K12 is a high quality 35mm point-and-shoot from circa 1986 with an interesting design. This camera was made by the Japanese company Chinon and is quite close to their Auto 2001 model in specifications. It features a fast and very sharp 35mm f2.8 lens and a clever flip-up lens cover that also houses the camera's flash.

This camera requires an ordinary 9 volt alkaline battery (not included). It alternatively supports an oddball Kodak 9 volt lithium battery but this would be difficult to find (we film tested it using a 9 volt battery and it works great).

Example photos

Here are some photos another person took with this model of camera (note the K14 version is the same camera except for a date imprinting feature): https://www.mikeeckman.com/2019/03/kodak-vr35-k14-medalist-1986/#jp-carousel-11306

(We also film-tested this specific camera but the photos are property of a client, we can share them upon request).

Condition notes

We film tested this camera and it delivered sharp, correctly exposed photos. It's in very good cosmetic condition (see photos). The original nylon case is in good condition with some wear from use (see photo).
