The Kodak VR35 K10 is a high quality 35mm point-and-shoot from circa 1986 with an interesting design. This camera was made by the Japanese company Chinon and is quite close to their 35FS-A model in its major specifications (but with a very different outward design).

This camera features a 35mm f3.5 lens and a clever flip-up lens cover that also houses the camera's flash.

This camera camera is quite unusual in that it features thumbwheel film advance and manual rewind combined with auto focus and built-in flash. In our experience, manual advance cameras are a bit more reliable and feature better battery life (at the cost of somewhat slower operation).

Battery information

This camera requires an ordinary 9 volt alkaline battery (not included). It alternatively supports an oddball Kodak 9 volt lithium battery but this would be difficult to find (we film tested it using a 9 volt battery and it works great).

Condition notes

We film tested this camera and it delivered sharp, correctly exposed photos. It's in good cosmetic condition (see photos) except its original film reminder window (on the film door) was replaced with translucent epoxy. The original Kodak case is included.
