Diramic CF 35 point-and-shoot 35mm camera

The Diramic CF 35 is a simple, mechanical 35mm point-and-shoot from the 1980s. It features a 38mm f4 lens and a built-in flash. The same camera was sold as the Halina Flash 350 (the Diramic brand was used for cameras sold at Direct Film stores in Canada). 

This camera's lens is a focus-free design where subjects from ~1.2 meters to infinity should be in focus. You cannot take extreme close-ups.

For the more technically oriented: This simple camera gives you some measure of exposure control. The ISO 400 'sunny' switch on the front gives an EV14 (@ISO 100) exposure; the ISO 100/200 'sunny' switch gives an EV 13 @ ISO 100 exposure. And here's a hack for the most advanced users: with the flash switch on (but no batteries installed), the camera gives an EV 11 @ ISO 100 exposure. 

For less technically oriented users, just use color negative film, set the film speed on the camera to match the film you're using. And switch on the flash unless you're outdoors in daylight conditions.

This camera requires two AAA alkaline batteries for its flash.
