Canon Sure Shot Ace 35mm camera w/ manual (serial 2527750)
The Canon Sure Shot Ace (also called the Prisma Shot or Autoboy Prisma) is an interesting and easy-to-use auto-focus 35mm camera from the 1988. It features a sharp 35mm f3.5 lens (3 elements in 3 groups). This camera is similar to the later, more commonly encountered Sure Shot Joy except it offers a faster maximum aperture (f3.5 vs f4.5) and adds a very handy roof prism low-angle viewfinder (a feature later found in the coveted Yashica T4 Super/T5).
This camera original came with a remote control that can attach to the side but this example doesn't include it.
Battery information
The Sure Shot Ace requires a 2CR5 6V lithium battery (optional).
Shooting capacity: About 70 rolls with 24-exp. film (with 30% flash operation)
Condition notes
All camera features were tested with a battery and film installed (the film was not developed) and is working great. We verified its focus and autoexposure are working with good accuracy. As mentioned above, the remote control is not included. The original user manual is included, it shows considerable wear.
