Argus Cosina Model 735 Super 8 movie camera
Argus Cosina Model 735 Super 8 movie camera
The Argus Cosina Model 735 is a compact, high-quality super 8 camera with a very sturdy metal body.
This camera was featured in a roundup of 'pocket Super 8 cameras' in the December 1973 issue of Popular Mechanics. Read it here.
The Argus Cosina 735 is also an excellent choice for stop motion animation projects (it offers both a hot shoe and PC sync for flashes/strobes in single frame mode).
Condition notes
The camera was tested with a film cartridge (though the film was not developed), the film transport is working smoothly and the light meter is functioning correctly. We verified the camera's true film plane focus accuracy with a cartridge running. The camera is overall good cosmetic condition with some wear from use (most notably a dent on the filter ring, see photos).
