The Canonet 28 is a classic 35mm rangefinder camera with a sharp 45mm f2.8 lens. It's a fully auto-exposure camera that requires a battery for its exposure meter (originally a now-unavailable mercury cell but modern 675 zinc air batteries work great). The Canonet 28 also allows manual setting of the f-stop (there's a fixed shutter speed of 1/30 in this mode) for either creative control or the use of flash (like the included small Sears flash).

We tested this camera with film and it performed superbly. Its rangefinder is very accurate.  The original box (in worn condition) as well as user manuals in both English and French, plus a Sears brand flash are included.

The camera requires a 675 zinc air battery (optional) and the flash requires two AA batteries (not included).

Condition notes
The camera was tested with film and delivered sharp, well-exposed images. It is in very good aesthetic condition as well. The included Sears flash has some battery contact tarnish but worked very well in our testing; we'd advise you to remove any batteries from it when not in use as it's likely to be quite sensitive to corrosion from leaky AAs.  The included original Canonet box is in very worn condition (as visible in the photos).
